Day 2 has been so great! And it’s not even dinner time yet! Breakfast was pancakes! Yum! The kids were blessed by a talk this morning from Paul, followed by another small group cabin time.
Lunch was tacos with churros for dessert. After lunch the kids changed into their swim suits and we played human Battleship. The kids laid down on the sand volleyball court with a tarp over the net and each side took turns throwing water balloons at the other side. If a kid got hit, they would be out.
And finally, the best part of the day…going to the river!!! There was lots of fun to be had at the river. After passing the swim test, the kids swam, tubed, skipped rocks, made boondoggels (lanyards),and caught crawdads.
Next on the agenda is dinner, another teaching from Paul, and a movie night!
