We have arrived!
Everyone found their gear and somehow with their super powers they were able to carry it all to their cabins! Then we had a time where each cabin did their cabin cheer! Hopefully we’ll be hearing more of the cheers as the week progresses.
Dinner was homemade pizza! Yum. In addition to the usually cheese and pepperoni, there was also a lovely BBQ chicken pizza. The kids are learning all the ins and outs of camp life and for some reason, they are all really excited about having K.P.
Tonight we had worship lead by Zach and a message by Paul which was nearly ruined by the intrusion of the Evil “Distraction” super-villain. I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of him for sure.
It’s still raining so tonight we’re doing our movie night. In keeping with the Super Hero theme, we will be watching “The Incredibles.”
The weather forecast shows that it’s going to heat up and clear up tomorrow. It will be good for everyone to have dry feet again!
