Day Two - Noon

Day Two – Noon
After breakfast we had another visit from “Distraction” and his minions.  Those guys are always causing trouble around the camp.  Their weather machine has brought more light rain for us.  Pictured below is “Distraction” and his minions.

The weather was clear enough for us to have our morning teaching outside in the amphitheater.  Zach taught us again from Hebrews 11 and what faith is.  Our camp verse is Hebrews 11:1 & 6.
“Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”
We learned a song to help us remember the verse.  Hopefully your kids will come home singing it.  It is from a band called Seeds of Worship.  They’re available on iTunes and they have a website which you can google.

For lunch we had tacos!  Watch out at meal times… If anyone is caught with their elbows on the table, they have to get up in front of everyone and sing a song.

Up next is some free time.  A giant 60 foot Slip and Slide is being set up.  Oh boy!  Stay tuned for some photos from free time.
